SARASOTA – Drs. James McGovern and Karim Yamout of Carter Psychology Center have joined Sarasota County’s Judge Donna Padar Berlin in her efforts both to inoculate jurors so they will be able to withstand the impact of the troubling things they may see and hear in court, and to begin the process of healing after their duties have been discharged.

This important work was kicked off by the Judge with a planning luncheon that was held on January 31st at the Judge Lynn Silvertooth Judicial Center in Sarasota, during which she spoke not only about the needs of these jurors but also about how unfortunate it is that to date these issues have been addressed in only a handful of states and never in Florida.

We applaud Judge Berlin’s initiating this important project, and CPC is proud and honored to serve the community in this important effort to provide the kind of support these jurors need and deserve.
