Community Spotlight: Hope Kids & Gettel Partner to Serve Homeless Schoolchildren in Manasota

BRADENTON – Hope Kids Community and the Gettel Family of Dealerships have partnered in a community outreach to serve the 1600 homeless children in the school system in both Manatee and Sarasota counties. All of the Gettel Automotive Family of Dealerships located in Bradenton and Sarasota will be an official drop off location for the supplies. Drop off boxes will be positioned throughout the stores. Supplies will be collected until August 10, 2013.

Needed supplies are: glue sticks, scissors, pack of ball point pens, pack no. 2 pencils, pack colored pencils, pack water based markers, spiral and composition notebooks, 4oz white glue, 3-ring binder, pack loose leaf notebook paper, pocket folders, ruler, 16 oz. shampoo, 16 oz. conditioner, body wash, bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, deodorant, brush, comb, pocket mirror, and lip balm.
