BRADENTON – United Way of Manatee County is proud to announce the launch of HandsOn Manatee, an accredited online system that connects volunteers to meaningful community projects within Manatee County and our neighboring communities. Thanks to a partnership with HandsOn Suncoast and United Way Suncoast, United Way of Manatee County is able to better engage volunteers looking to donate their time and direct their efforts to our community’s most pressing needs.
To become a United Way HandsOn Manatee volunteer, visit www.HandsOnmanatee.org. Initially, volunteers must create a profile and register for a Volunteer Orientation. This one-time, one hour orientation instructs volunteers on necessary protocols and ensures compliance with United Way and HandsOn Manatee procedures. Afterward, volunteers can easily select and sign-up for a range of projects that fit their schedules and passions.
