BRADENTON -- Bradenton Mayor Wayne Poston was on new ground in this year's contest, facing two well-organized opponents in a winner take all race during a presidential election. Poston's opponents were able to manage a majority of the combined votes (61 percent), but Poston was still able to prevail with 39 percent of the vote.
