Emma Mae Williams, age 71, of Palmetto, Florida, passed away on July 2, 2022.
Emma Mae was born on April 1, 1951, to Ella Mae and Percy Green.
Emma was employed by MATS Detention Center, she enjoyed cooking and feeding the community also she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John First Baptist Institutional Church in Palmetto, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae and Percy Green; Sisters, Betty Mae Green, Wanda Green, Earnestine Washington; Son, Stacy Blue; Brother, L.C. Green.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, John Williams; Sons, Kent (Tonie) Blue, Atlanta, GA, Marquise Green, and Alonzo Guice of Palmetto, FL; Raised as her daughter, Tiki (Bobby) Jackson; Brother, Gregory Green, Palmetto; Sister, Jadell Green, Palmetto, FL; Aunt, Beulah Gather of Bradenton, FL; Uncle, Arthur (Annie Carla) Green, Palmetto, FL; Sister-in-law, Helen (Moe) Williams of Atlanta, GA; Brothers-in-law, Gene Williams and Otis Williams, Palmetto, FL, Art (Shirley) Williams of Bradenton, FL; Mack (Diana) Williams, Sarasota, FL, Emmanuel of Atlanta, GA; 13 Grandchildren; Best friend, Linda Lee Simmons; a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W., Palmetto, FL 34221. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Bible Baptist Church, 1720 6th Ave W, Palmetto, FL 34221.
