    I agree with Dawn. As an employee of development services for the county, most day care operations were in existing buildings, repurposed homes not new buildings. Very lame argument. Download the Impact Fee Administration Fee Manual off the county website and you will see the adopted changes. Transportation (Roads) were reduced to 50% in 2009. In 2011 roads stayed at 50%. In 2018 all impact fees were set at 90%. Manatee County last collected 100% for ALL fees in 2005. Developers have had a long enough break.
