BRADENTON -- Two Florida Department of Transportation projects that started recently will resurface U.S. 41 from south of 301 Boulevard to south of 23rd Avenue. Crews will remove existing pavement and resurface the roadway and replace existing signals. 

The intersection of U.S. 41/Cortez Road will also be rebuilt in order to improve pedestrian access and reduce walking distance across the intersection. Both projects are expected to be completed in early 2014. Click here for more information.
