BRADENTON — Grassroots candidate and longtime citizen activist Carol Felts overcame the longest odds in Tuesday's Republican primaries, defeating a well-funded developer-backed candidate in a large rural district despite having almost no financial backing.
Felts defeated Steve Metallo 54% to 46% in a race to fill the seat vacated by James Satcher when he was appointed Supervisor of Elections. Felts, who was endorsed by The Bradenton Times, will now face NPA candidate Jen Hamey and Democrat Glenn Pearson in November.

WTF
You know what they say Carol third time is the charm, you have been persistent, diligent, well versed in all your presentations and your honesty show through unlike your developer-backed puppet Well Done! And you thought you did not have to stick around for 4 more years haha …
