BRADENTON--The Bradenton Gladiators cruised to a 37-0 victory over the Florida Crusaders at the PAL Bowl Saturday night to stay unbeaten at 5-0 this season in the Florida Football Alliance.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Gladiators offense put up 17 points including a Bon Bean touchdown reception and a Derek Scott field goal to take a 17-0 lead at halftime.

Former Manatee Hurricane standout Craig Carnes ran back the opening kick of the third quarter to give Bradenton a 24-0 margin as the Gladiators recorded their third shutout of the year. The defense has allowed just 12 points in five games.

Bradenton is one of three teams along with Orlando and Miami who are undefeated in the FFA after five weeks. The Gladiators sit atop the AFC West division.

Next week is a bye week for the Gladiators. Bradenton resumes March 5th in Largo against the Bay Area Warriors.

The Sarasota Millionaires were on a bye this week and return to action next Saturday against the Bay Area Warriors in Largo.
