Harley Wilson Helmuth, aged 83, passed away on October 19, 2023, at Heritage Park Nursing Home in Bradenton, FL.

Born on July 8, 1940, in Kalona, Iowa, to William and Barbara Helmuth, Harley lived in Frytown, Iowa, before relocating to Florida in 1964.

He is survived by his four sons: Dean (Brittany), Gene (Susana), Dwight (Tiffany), and Cory (Laura).

Sisters: Viola, Thelma, Alice, and the late Mary and Laura.

Brothers: Verton and the late Perry.

Harley leaves behind seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Throughout his career, Harley worked at Miller Trailers, Commander Electric, Brethauer Electric (as an electrician), and DiMare. Additionally, he served as an auxiliary sheriff for the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Harley found joy in bowling and woodworking, showcasing his ability to tackle any task or repair.

A dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Palmetto, Harley was baptized there. He participated as a Sunday morning greeter and contributed to the organization's vacation Bible school, always ready to lend a helping hand with just a phone call away. His absence will be deeply felt, and he will be sincerely missed by those who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held November 17th, 2023 at 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Palmetto (1020 4th St W #5003, Palmetto, FL 34221)
