In Transit at Oscura

In Transit comes to Oscura on Friday night with Special guests the Sophomore Effort, Floating Boy, and Moth Bite.

"Seamlessly skirting the blurry lines of genres, In Transit effortlessly blend all the best elements of Dischord Era post-hardcore with late 90’s emo hooks and the new wave synths and samples of all your favorite old Cure albums.

The band pride themselves on crafting expansive, cinematic, and dynamically progressive indie rock and sticking to the highest work ethic a band can have. Hailing from the Tampa Bay area, In Transit began in 2018 & has been a workhorse in the regional scene ever since. Made entirely of longtime members of the Bay Area music community for decades, their experience and resume are clearly apparent in their music.

Pop Stew Radio called them “A fiery blend of indie rock and post-core with haunting riffs and a larger-than-life sound.” They have shared the stage with countless local and regional artists, with shows alongside legendary acts such as Garrett Klahn (Texas is the Reason), The Darling Fire (Rocking Horse Winner, Further Seems Forever, As Friends Rust), and Florida scene heavyweights; Have Gun Will Travel, Slap Of Reality, and many others."
