Job Creation and County Growth On Agenda For Commissioners Workshop Tuesday

MANATEE--The Board of County Commissioners will focus on job growth and urban development at its scheduled workshop session Tuesday morning in the county administration building. The commissioners will discuss its directives on those issues beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the 4th floor conference room.

Other items on the workshop agenda include Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) expansion and a status report on the "How Will We Grow" project formerly headed by David Klement who was let go as the county's organizational development director last week in a restructuring of Manatee government by county administrator Ed Hunzeker.

The public is invited to workshops to listen and make comments to the BCC. Issues at these sessions are often brought back as agenda items in future board of commissioner meetings.
