John L. Costley, Jr., 74, of Palmetto, Florida, a husband, father, and U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran passed peacefully in his home after a time of illness on July 9, 2022.
He was a raconteur with a love for his native home of Texas and cowboy culture. He was known for befriending everyone he could, with a knowledge of a wide range of subjects. He is survived by his sister, Maria Costley; his children; Harley Costley, Spencer Costley, Menesica Costley, Verna Costley, Ian Costley, Paige Costley Smith; and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 12-2 PM Fri., July 15, 2022, at Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W., Palmetto, FL. There will be an additional service at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin, TX, at a Later Date.
Burial Services will take place at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX
