Judith Elena Lopez Kingalahua, 90, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on August 10, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice House. She was born March 16, 1934, in the Northern part of Ecuador in a town called El Angel, which is in the providence of El Carchi. She grew up in the country, not only loved horses but she loved to ride them and was very good at it. Her father tamed wild horses so she knew how to ride them and she also learned, in case she fell off a horse, how to land. Judith lived in Belleville, New Jersey for many years and moved to Florida for her Golden Years.

She was preceded in her death by her Parents: Teresa Ortega and Angel Lopez; Her Siblings: Bertha Lopez, Enrique Lopez and Carlos Lopez; Her Children: Silvana, Janeth, Angela, Ruben, Carlos (Charlie) and Sofia; Her Grandchildren: Cosi, Jo, Melissa, Vanessa, Elissa, Tabitha, Ivana, Martin, Luis, Guilia, Samuel, Samantha and Carlos; and Her 4 Great Grandchildren. Judith was the matriarch of her the family, she was the glue that kept the family together. She was strong and hardworking and devoted to her family.

Her strongest qualities were her generosity and hospitality and enjoyed sharing this with others. She always made sure that her children always had enough and more. Mom was truly an extraordinary woman, a beacon of compassion and strength. Her generosity touched so many lives, and her hospitality made everyone feel at home. She was a giver in every sense of the word, always ready to lend a helping hand to care for others with an unwavering dedication. Her wisdom and determination were guiding lights, showing those around her what it meant to live with a purpose and with grace.

As we navigate through this deep sorrow, it is important to hold onto the countless memories of the love she shared, the lives that she enriched and the example that she set. Though the grief is profound the gifts that she gave us – her kindness, her strength, her spirit will remain within all of us, comforting us and reminding us of her beautiful legacy she leaves behind. We can honor her by carrying forward the values she embodied, finding strength in the memories of her remarkable life and knowing that her love will live on and continue to guide us.

In Memory of Judith, please consider making a donation to the American Cancer Society in her name.

A Public Visitation is going to be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 1 pm to 3 pm at Brown and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory 26th Street Chapel; with a Funeral Service to start at 3 pm and a Reception to follow at 4 pm.
