Kennedy and Lynch Head to Runoff for D3 School Board Seat

BRADENTON —  Former Manatee County School Board member Charlie Kennedy very nearly won an outright victory in Tuesday's race, earning 47.45% of the vote in the non-partisan race. 

Jon Lynch came in second with 30% of the vote, while Perri Ann Parkman received 22.5%. Kennedy, who was endorsed by The Bradenton Times, will now square off with Lynch in a runoff on the November ballot.
