Kiosks Now Accepting Your Prescription Drugs!

BRADENTON -- Manatee County residents can now dispose of their expired or unused prescriptions and over-the-counter medications at seven permanent Rx drug disposal kiosks. They are located at the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, the county substations and participating local police departments. The Manatee County Substance Abuse Coalition and Manatee law enforcement wish to thank Walgreens for generously purchasing six of the new kiosks.

Clearing your home of unused medications is an effective strategy to curb theft, reduce drug abuse, and prevent accidental poisonings. Flushing medications down the toilet or throwing them in the trash pose a potential hazard to humans and animals. Keep dangerous drugs out of the environment. Dispose of your unused medications at the following locations:
