Lakewood Ranch Community Fund Names Stuart J. Roth Humanitarian of the Year

LAKEWOOD RANCH--The Board of Advisors of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund has announced that the Center for Faith and Freedom's Founder and President Stuart J. Roth is the recipient of the Sixth Annual C. John A. Clarke Humanitarian of the Year Award.

Bob Borkowski, Treasurer and Chair of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund Award Selection Committee, notes: "Stuart J. Roth more than represents the high standards of philanthropy recognized by this award; the Community Fund is pleased to honor him. The award is given to individuals who have made outstanding, sustained and unselfish contributions to community enrichment and whose vital ideas and personal sacrifices exemplify the ideal of service to the community."

"I recognize the important role that non-profits serve across this nation", said Stuart Roth. "The Center for Faith and Freedom is at the cutting edge of the multi-media industry in creating, producing and syndicating not only original programs for broadcast television, but award winning documentaries addressing our nations most complex social, economic and spiritual issues."

The Board of Advisors of the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund will host a reception at 4:00 PM on October 15, 2010 at the Lakewood Ranch Town Hall to announce the recipients of its 2010 non-profit organization grants and to honor the significant philanthropic contributions made to the community by Stuart J. Roth. The public is invited to attend.
