BRADENTON -- During Thursday's BOCC Land Use meeting, county commissioners opened a Port Authority Meeting. At that meeting, the board approved sending a letter of recommendation to the Florida Legislature in Tallahassee. In other business, members approved a rezoning of a 5-acre parcel, north and west of the existing Fountain Lake Apartments, at 5620 Fountain Lakes Circle in West Bradenton.
