PALMETTO – The Manatee County Fair starts today and runs through January 26. This year's fair features exciting exhibits and vendors, livestock shows and auctions, competitions, a thrill-packed midway, a variety of great entertainment and, of course, fair food — all packed into ten days and nights.
From friend Twinkies to The Grizzly Experience to bands like Mikeschair, Building 429 and The Henningsens there is plenty of special entertainment events in addition to the regular exhibits. Click here for a full schedule of fair entertainment.
Fair admission prices are as follows: Adults (ages 13 and up) $8; Children (6-12 yrs.) $5; Kids (5 and under) are free; Seniors (55 and up) $7; Military (with Active Military ID) $5. Click here for fair hours and a schedule of special pricing days.
