Manatee County High School Football Schedule: Week 5

MANATEE COUNTY -- There are plenty of inter-county match-ups this week, including the big rivalry game between Southeast and Manatee.

The Seminoles are struggling through a 1-3 season and are not expected to mount a serious challenge against Manatee, who has blown them out in the last two seasons.

The 'Canes dropped from first to second in Florida 8A rankings, even after blowing out Sarasota 66-7 last week and will no doubt be looking to make a big statement tonight.

In other action, Booker will take on Braden River, who are coming off a disappointing first loss against Lakewood Ranch last week. The Mustangs head south to take on Charlotte, while Bayshore takes on Palmetto.

Bradenton Christian will also look to bounce back from their first loss last week when they host Calvary Christian, while St. Stephen's heads north to take on BCS's vanquishers, Canturbury.
