MANATEE COUNTY — If the recent impacts of Hurricane Helene have moved you to ask, “How can I help..?”
Manatee County is organizing a community-wide volunteer effort to help fully asses our neighbors’ human needs.
- When: October 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Location: Bradenton Area Convention Center, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto
(transportation to survey locations will be provided)
- Volunteers Needed: 300 per day
What to Expect:
- Training will be provided prior to beginning.
- Volunteers will work in pairs.
- Surveys will be conducted using digital devices and/or paper forms.
- Water, snacks, and lunch will be provided.
