Manatee Movers and Shakers: Mauldin & Jenkins Names Two New Partners

BRADENTON – Mauldin & Jenkins, a Southeastern based certified public accounting firm, recently promoted two managers to the position of partner. Steve Parent was named partner in the Bradenton, FL office and Joanna Hancock was named partner in the Albany, GA office.

Joanna C. Hancock, CPA earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia. She has extensive experience in tax and accounting with a focus on individual, estate, trust and small business services. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is married to William A. Hancock and they have four children.

Steve Parent, CPA earned Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degrees from Auburn University. He has extensive experience in providing accounting and consulting services to commercial businesses, individuals, trusts and estates. Steve is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) with the AICPA. He is a member of the Bradenton Rotary Club, the Manatee Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Council, and a board member of the Manatee County Historical Commission.
