Marauders Complete Sweep of Mets Series With 4-1 Match

BRADENTON – The Marauders (47-41, 12-7) completed a three-game series sweep of the St. Lucie Mets (52-35, 12-6), winning 4-1 on Thursday night at McKechnie Field. Jason Creasy (W, 5-4) fired seven scoreless innings and struck out one.

Adam Frazier doubled home the first run of the game against Mets starter John Lannan (L, 0-1). Jin-De Jhang singled home Bradenton’s second run in the sixth inning against reliever Seth Lugo. The Marauders capitalized on three Mets errors in the seventh to plate two more.

St. Lucie notched its only run in the top of the eighth off Ryan Hafner. L.J. Mazzili picked up the RBI.

The Marauders host the Yankees on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
