MCSO Issues Suspicious Incident Report after 11 Year Old Reports Possible Abduction Attempt

BRADENTON -- Detectives are investigating a suspicious incident that occurred yesterday morning in the 5900 block of 5th St. E., Bradenton.  An 11 year old girl says she was approached by an unknown male subject while she was walking to the bus stop at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Thursday.

The girl says the man pulled over in his white van and approached her while she was walking. She says he asked her some questions and then grabbed her arm.  The girl was able to break away and fled the area. 

The man is described as an older white male with gray hair wearing a blue and white striped shirt and black pants. The van is described as white in color with multiple windows.
