BRADENTON — Detectives in the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Tactical Unit have shut down an illegal gambling operation in Bradenton, seizing thousands of dollars in cash, dozens of gambling machines, and computer equipment used to facilitate the business.
Following a weeks-long investigation, detectives determined that a storefront operating as an unnamed "arcade" at 4307 26th St. W., Unit B, Bradenton was functioning as an illegal gambling establishment. Detectives obtained a search warrant, which was executed on the evening of July 17, 2026.
During the operation, Keylin Reyes Escobar, 21, was observed operating the business. As detectives entered the location, she fled through a rear door but was taken into custody nearby shortly thereafter. She was arrested and charged with Obstruction and Being an Agent or Employee of a House for Gambling.

Yes I'm sure a 21 year old girl, the only one arrested, was the mastermind of this operation. Great job MCSO at rounding up this gambling ring and ensuring another casino doesn't just pop up again at this exact same location in a few months. /s
