Nathan Adcock Shuts Down Yanks, Marauders win 8-1

Posted

BRADENTON -- Having already lost two top pitchers to promotion this season, Nathan Adcock (6-2) is making a frighteningly good case why he should be the third. The 6'5 right-hander struck out seven and walked three, while holding the Tampa Yankees to one run over six innings, last night at Mckechnie Field. The offense was led by Quincy Latimore, who knocked in three runs, going 2-5 with a double. The series continues tonight with the Human Society's Bark in the Park Night, with a 6 p.m. game time and then wraps up with an afternoon game Sunday at 1 p.m. The Marauders (29-19) are now 3 1/2 up on Palm Beach, atop the FSL South.
