Half of the remaining six million Epstein files, the federal government is legally required to make public, were released on Friday (six weeks after the statutory deadline). We didn't get the names of the coconspirators that the government did not indict or the reasons, but several prominent figures seem to have been caught lying about their relationships with the notorious pedophile and sex-trafficker.
Elon Musk has maintained that he had never been to Epstein's island, despite the disgraced "financier" having pressured him to attend on numerous occasions. According to emails between the two, that seems to have been a lie.
Billionaire and current Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick was Epstein's neighbor but claimed he had only been in his presence exactly once, prior to his initial arrest, and was so creeped out he vowed to never be in a room with him again. Again, according to emails between the two, that seems to be a really big lie.
Billionaire Bill Gates' relationship with Epstein has been better documented, with Gates' ex-wife saying her ex-husband's relationship with the sex trafficker played a role in their divorce. What appeared to be a draft email by Epstein to Gates suggests Epstein was attempting to extort the Microsoft founder over some rather salacious subjects he had asked Epstein for counsel on.
The release also suggests that FBI Director Kash Patel has been misleading Congress and the public over what evidence his agency possessed.
Internet sleuth Stephen Findeisen, better known as Coffeezilla, breaks it down in the video below.
