Ralph Liptak, 73, of Bradenton, Fl., passed away after a brief illness on August 13, 2022, joining his loving wife, Phyllis (Boyens) Liptak.
Ralph was born in Springfield, MA and was raised in Southwick, MA. He graduated from Southwick High School and enjoyed playing competitive soccer. He then went on to Wentworth Institute of Technology where he received his Associate Degree in Electronic Engineering. Ralph was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a fan of all sports and especially loved The Tennessee Titans. Ralph retired from Radiant Power after 25 years of service, where he met his friend, Greg, who was very special to Ralph.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his children, Cory Liptak and Lori Liptak of Westfield, MA; his stepchildren, Travis Boyens and Tammy Johnston of Bradenton, FL and Jason Boyens of Folsom, CA; his 4 grandchildren, whom he loved and adored, Jon, Chase, and Magan Liptak, and Elizabeth Clink of Westfield, MA: his step-grandchildren, Scarlett Reid, and Kaitlyn Ritchie of Bradenton, FL, and Dakota Johnston of Kentucky; 2 great-grandchildren, Mason and Cameron of Westfield MA; step great-grandchildren, Trey, Remi, Kai, Dakota, and Caisyn. He also leaves behind his friend and hunting buddy, Tom Stevens, who was a great friend to Ralph and strong support to his family during this difficult time. Ralph leaves behind numerous cousins and friends. Ralph is survived by his brother-in-law, Scott Warner and nephew, Scott Warner of Westfield, MA. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph T. Liptak Sr. & Rose (Bruneau) Liptak and by his sister Cynthia (Liptak) Warner.
Ralph’s service will be at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 5200 US Hwy 19N, Palmetto, FL on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 10:00 am.
