Sophie N. Boyle, 79, of Bradenton, FL, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2022.
She was born to John and Caroline Nicholas on September 21, 1942. She attended school in Hartford, CT where she met the love of her life Eugene Robert "Bob" Boyle. The two loved so deeply, they ran away to Highland Park, MI, married on February 2, 1960, and enjoyed almost 62 years of love and marriage together. With the birth of their first son, Alphonzo J. Boyle, they moved back to Hartford, CT to be close to family. Sophie and Bob went on to raise 4 children and there wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do for their children. She worked in the banking industry in Hartford until they moved to Bradenton, FL, where she continued her work for Wells Fargo until she retired. She loved to travel on cruises or casino trips but most importantly she loved being with her family and dear friends.
Sophie will join her late husband, Eugene Robert "Bob" Boyle in God’s paradise. She is survived by her son, Alphonzo and wife, Michelle; daughter, Karen (Boyle) King and late husband, Paul King; Anthony and wife, Pamela; Cynthia (Boyle) Spielman and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Tatiana, Jesse, Sean (deceased), Jasmine and several great-grandchildren; her brother, Nicholas and Nancy Nicholas and sister, Penelope Nicholas.
A Service of remembrance will be held at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West Bradenton, FL 34209. Those who wish to remember Sophie in a special way may donate in her memory to their favorite charity.
