Political platform statement
Talha “Tal” Siddique is a servant-leader who has led software teams for the U.S. Air Force. His professional record includes work for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in the fight against illegal immigration and for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs supporting our veterans. In the private sector he has successfully built and scaled IT businesses across the globe.
Tal earned his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Sciences with a minor in Computer Science at The George Washington University. Tal is a proud member of the NRA, enjoys making his own ammunition, shooting trap and clays, woodworking, building computers, and volunteering in the community.
Tal’s wife Kristen Truong was born and raised in Bradenton and graduated from St. Joseph’s Catholic School and Bradenton Christian School. Tal and Kristen are parishioners of Saints Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church.

Tal’s family has deep roots in Manatee County. They co-founded Bradenton Christian Reformed Church (BCRC), Bradenton Christian School (BCS), and Ten-8 Fire & Safety proudly serving our first responders. They have served as board members for Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Tal’s family has served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and today. He gives back to veterans by advocating for veterans experiencing homelessness and is a proud supporter of Tunnel to Towers.
