The DOJ released a video of the alleged White House Correspondence Dinner shooter's rush past police and Secret Service agents, and it is almost unbelievable. For anyone who has ever attended an event featuring the President or other top elected federal officials, the level of security is always over the top. However, while this year's event was held in a room adjacent to a hotel that anyone could enter, the video shows an embarrisingly low-level of security for an event that not only featured the President and Vice President sitting within feet of each other, but had so many other officials present that, should the room have blown up, the first person in the line of presidential succession not in attendance was 92-year old Chuck Grassley, a man who was born in the same year the United States ended prohibition.
