BRADENTON — It will be a quiet week in local government with the Bradenton City Council convening for a meeting on Wednesday, and the Manatee County Commission in session for a land use meeting on Thursday. A previously planned Manatee County Commission Tuesday work session meeting has been canceled. All local government offices and school district sites will be closed this Monday in observance of Presidents Day.
