BRADENTON —  There are a handful of local government meetings of note on the calendar this week.  The Palmetto City Commission will hold its workshop and regular meeting on Monday, the Manatee School Board will meet on Tuesday and Thursday this week, and the Manatee County Commission will convene for a land use meeting on Thursday.
