This Week in Local Government: 6/28/26

BRADENTON — It will be a quiet week in local government, without any meetings of note scheduled on local government calendars. All local government offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day (July 4th). The City of Palmetto's offices will also be closed on Monday, July 6.  

The Manatee County Commission's annual summer recess will continue through July 24, 2026.
