This Week in Local Government: April 21-25, 2014

BRADENTON – The Manatee Tourist Development Council will meet Monday morning. Later that day, the Palmetto City Commission will convene for a workshop and regular meeting. During Tuesday's regular meeting, the BOCC will vote on on approval of a plat for a 67-lot subdivision. The Manatee School Board will have a workshop - with a review of a presentation by a new public accounting firm selected to provide external auditing - and a regular meeting that day. On Wednesday, the Bradenton City Council will have an afternoon workshop on a new gunfire alert and location technology for law enforcement, followed by a regular meeting in the evening.
