This Week in Local Government: January 13-17, 2014

BRADENTON – The Palmetto City Commission will have a workshop and regular meeting Monday night. A Manatee School Board workshop that will include a discussion on CAPE and SAC funding will be held on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a regular meeting containing a public hearing on adopting an amendment to the district's electronic communications usage policy, and an Internal Audit report.  A BOCC workshop on Drug Court and display racks on county beaches will also take place on Tuesday; a Bradenton City Council workshop and a City of Bradenton Planning Commission  will also convene on Tuesday, and Manatee Planning Commission and Port Authority meetings will end this week in local government board meetings on Thursday.
