Wayne Lucas Heyesen, aka "Bucka," 72, longtime resident of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 in Manatee County, Florida, with his loving family by his side.
Wayne is survived by wife of 52 years, and love of his life, Cindy; son Jonathon (Kyle Leia) of Duluth, daughter Heather (Jeremy) Carlson of Lakewood Ranch, FL; grandchildren Kaien James Carlson and Kirien Joy Carlson of Lakewood Ranch, FL, and Stella Marais Molina of Duluth; niece Jamie Lee Smith of Springfield, MO; and cousin Dianna Wolf of Hinckley, MN. He is preceded in death by his father Clifford Heyesen, his mother Arlene Welsh, and his brother Brian "Bubba" Heyesen.
His Celebration of Life will be held at Lafayette Square Community Center on Park Point in Duluth on June 30th, 2024 at noon-4pm with a special program at 1:30pm.
