BRADENTON — It's another weekend, and you know what that means. If you guessed another great lineup of local, talented musicians in Manatee, Sarasota, and surrounding counties, you would be correct. Zach Regan & The 776
Swordfish Grill
Friday - 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Zach Regan & the 776 is  a south Florida band raised up on southern rock and country roots. They're high energy performers trying to put cracks in the mold of the Alt-Country scene. The band is currently working on their 2nd album and plan on releasing some acoustic singles throughout the next few months.

Like a jewel hiding in the mystique of the Cortez Fishing Village, the Swordfish Grill is right on the Sarasota Bay, creating a place that initiates relaxation and a laid-back ambiance. As the vocalist and keyboard maestro, Matthew weaves together melodies that transcend genres, taking listeners on a soul-stirring ride through the landscapes of Alternative Blues, Soul, Rock, and Fusion.

​Barry, the band's soulful bass player, lays down grooves that anchor their compositions, providing the foundation for the sonic exploration that defines the Matthew Frost Band. Josh, the virtuoso guitarist, adds layers of emotion and intensity, creating a tapestry of sound that is both intricate and electrifying. Michael, the rhythmic heartbeat on the drums, drives the energy of their performances, ensuring that each beat resonates with the spirit of our music.

​As a band, they are not confined by boundaries; instead, they embrace the fusion of genres to create a musical palette that is as diverse as the influences that inspire them. Big Top Brewing Company is a Sarasota-based production brewery. A complement to Sarasota’s historical association with The Ringling Circus and the performing arts, Big Top has set out to create great beer worthy of the history and culture that is Sarasota. CHEW hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and released their first ep, 3D EP in 2016. In 2017, CHEW released A Fine Accoutrement, in 2020 Darque Tan, and in 2022 HORSES with Stolen Body Records. Their new record Darque Market is coming soon.

South Florida-based Former child prodigy Soul-Blues guitarist, singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist REGGIE KING SEARS is back in 2025 with a new album titled "Crowned and Dangerous" that expands on his signature "Ghetto Soul" sound, which is a mix of Contemporary R&B, Funk, down-home Blues, Southern Soul, Neo-Soul, Rock and Hip Hop that will satisfy his ever-growing fan-base and sets him up to reach a larger and broader demographic.

Sears, now 33, has spent most of his life as a professional musician, became a mainstay on the international R&B, Funk and Blues circuit and has received praise and earned respect from legends and contemporaries alike.

Solo singer-songwriter, Emily Roff, shares her original songs with the audience, while also intertwining unique cover versions from classic and current artists alike. Some of Emily's musical inspirations are Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown, Jason Mraz, Sheryl Crow, Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, Amy Winehouse, and more. She is also highly influenced by '70's and 2000's Songwriter Era, as well as the 40's Jazz Era, so you are sure to see several of these songs incorporated into her performance.

Emily's original music can be characterized as Indie Beach Pop, with Jazzy-Bluesy undertones, and a little quirkiness sprinkled overtop. She also writes and plays slower Ballads that often show up in the form of thoughtful, melodic vocals with lightly picked guitar, or piano, behind. Her performance leaves you feeling fulfilled through her eclectic song choices, agile vocals, and multi-instrumentation (piano/guitar/ukulele).

Tom Burgess plays high energy solo acoustic cover performances tailored to the audience's wants and desires.

Combining acoustic guitar with vocals, harmonica, and live loops, Tom creates a lively and ambient listening environment. Since 2009, Tom has performed over 2000 shows in 7 states.

After playing his first show in Providence, RI in 2009, Tom knew right away that he wanted to pursue music full-time. Digging deep into the music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's, Tom is influenced by the talents of Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Tom Petty, The Allman Brothers, The Band, The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Santana and the Beatles. From the 80's on, Tom draws his influences from Dire Straits, Hall and Oates, Oasis, and the Verve. Today, Tom is influenced by newer acts like Nathaniel Rateliff, Tyler Childers, Chris Stapleton, Ryan Bingham, Phish, Goose, and the Steeldrivers.

You can catch Tom in the winter in Florida, or in the summer in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York.

Michael Dorsey is a skilled actor with a talent for not keeping a job. Desperate and out-of-work, Michael makes a last-ditch effort at making his dreams come true...by disguising himself as actress Dorothy Michaels.

King Margo
Fogartyville

King Margo is a magnetic female alt-country/Americana act based in Nashville, TN. Their 2022 “Waters Rise” album is filled with what Saving Country Music proclaims as “interesting and curious textures throughout, unique and unexpected approaches to songs, and inspired songwriting graced by soaring performances.”

The group consists of Lucciana Costa and Rachel Coats, who grew up in the Midwest 40 minutes apart but didn't meet until many years later in the middle of a Kentucky field. They connected instantly, both musically and personally, and the seeds for what would eventually become King Margo were planted. Often collaborating with fellow Nashville troubadour Gabe Lee, this duo is one to watch.

Sarasota's Lesa Silvermore will open the show.

Josh Quinn is a singer and piano player from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Since discovering music at age 3, he has incorporated blues influences into the wide variety of styles he plays on the stage and venues throughout the Twin Cities area. Relying on his soaring, growling vocals, and chunky piano riffs, Josh strives to tell a story and evoke emotions through his songs, whether playing original music or covering a tune. Above all, Josh’s goal on stage is to bring the listener along for a ride with just the right amount of dissonance to make the music shine.
