Mylon Shamble
Waterside Plaza
Saturday - 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Mylon was born in Chicago but grew up in Bradenton, FL. Her introduction to singing and songwriting is actually accredited to some of her friends from college. When asked to go to an open mic night to support some of the friends that had started a band, she ended up joining them for a song during the open jam and the rest was history.

They began to book major gigs as a headlined band throughout their time at FAU. Some of the members left after graduation, but not wanting to lose momentum, Mylon started booking weddings and private events as an entertainer from 2012-present day. She also began to work in studios, writing original music for herself and for other artists’ projects.

After graduating from FAU, Mylon auditioned for ‘American Idol’ and made it all the way through to Hollywood. Currently, she works as a Songwriter/Entertainer as well as a flight attendant for Spirit Airlines. No cover.

Erin Harpe Duo
Cottonmouth
Saturday - 7:00 p.m.

Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo has been called “today’s country blues at its very best” by Living Blues Magazine, who crowned Erin “one of the finest fingerpicking acoustic blues singers in the land”.

The group showcases Erin’s exceptional vocals and mastery of finger-style blues guitar – which she does while also playing foot percussion & kazoo! Rounding out the pair’s full-band sound, Erin’s husband – Jim Countryman – provides the perfect counterpoint with grooving bass and backing vocals. This dynamic duo boasts a career studded with numerous accolades, and miles of musical highway. The Boston-based power couple has captivated crowds all over the US and Europe, just recently returning from a wildly successful tour in the UK & Spain.

“Erin Harpe has a timeless quality about her. Maybe it is her signature look with a flower in her hair and the fishnet stockings, a look that would have worked in any decade over the past century. Or maybe it is her virtuoso finger picking guitar style or the way she can play the slide guitar like some of the recent greats such as Bonnie Raitt or Rory Block. Or maybe it is her beautiful singing voice, especially when she is covering the old-time blues music of Memphis Minnie or Sippie Wallace with a confidence and sass that might remind you of Maria Muldaur. Her style is both endearing and enduring.” –Sound Waves Magazine
