On Wednesday night, the Bradenton community was rocked by a category three hurricane named Milton. As a result, thousands of residents lost power, and homes all over the county were significantly damaged. In the days after, residents have rallied together, cleaning up debris and giving those whose power has yet to turn on a place to stay cool and lay their heads.
Fridges have been destroyed, and food has spoiled. Local restaurant owners have also been affected by the storm. Many still don't have power, but that will not stop them from reopening to serve the community in this time of need.
The Bradenton Times has created a list to make it easier for residents to find those places that are open. Each has been independently verified to be open by TBT, as of Friday afternoon
