BRADENTON – Congratulations to Brian Canaday, a 17-year employee of Bradenton Fire Department, on his promotion to Assistant Fire Chief. Canaday comes from the most recent position of Battalion Chief.
Assistant Chief Canaday has earned the FO4 designation (Fire Officer IV- Executive Management) which is the highest level for the fire officer program. AC Canaday is well-prepared for his new role.
Fire Chief Tim Geer said of the appointment, "Brian has displayed exemplary leadership throughout his career and will be the perfect fit on the Executive Committee.“
