Homer S. Lake, Jr., of Bradenton, Florida,went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 16, 2022.

Homer was born and raised in Weston, West Virginia. He moved to Ohio at the age of 19 and enjoyed many jobs until he found his niche in photography and printing. He owned and ran Pre Press Technologies until he retired. His hobby was racing his Datsun 500 and his Renault Le Car at different race tracks in Ohio, New York, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Also at Road Atlanta in Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Augretta Lake; his father, Homer S. Lake, Sr.; his brother, Wayne Lake; stepson, Robert "Bob" Netherton and his wife, Marie.

Homer is survived by his wife of 31 years, Georgianna Lake of Bradenton, FL; son, Mark (Melody) Lake of Knoxville, TN. daughter, Kim (Jeff) of Bradenton, FL; stepchildren, Rick Netherton and Kimberlie Kidd of Akron, OH and John (Christina) Netherton of Supulpa, OK; brother, Thomas E. Lake of Clarksburg, West VA; sister Sharon (Raleigh) Layster of Fairmont, WV and granddaughter, Jenessa Ana Lake of Punta Gorda, FL whom he raised for 10 years. Homer will be missed by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.

Homer will also be missed by many friends he has made over the years.

There will be no Services. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West Bradenton, FL 34207 is in charge of the arrangements.
