Lincoln Aquatic Center to Operate Two Swim Sessions a Day

Posted
PALMETTO – In an effort to allow even more recreational access to the swim-and-splash amenities at the new Lincoln Aquatic Center, Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources leaders are announcing newly scheduled hours of operation.

Instead of one open swim session each afternoon, there will now be two separate swim sessions. The first open swim will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., daily. Staff will close and clear the pool and reset for a second open swim session from 2 to 4 p.m.

These newly announced hours will be in effect–along with free admission–every day through August 6, 2022. As a reminder, the Lincoln Aquatic Center will be closed Friday, June 3.

All guests at the pool and water park complex are reminded that there is a strict dress code at the Lincoln Aquatic Center, with proper bathing attire required to be in the pool. More information on approved swimsuits and answers to other frequently asked questions can be found on the Lincoln Aquatic Center Webpage.
