ALDI to Reopen East County Location

Posted
BRADENTON – The Aldi on the northeast corner of 53rd Avenue East and 45th Street East in Manatee County, which has been closed for an extensive remodel, will reopen on Thursday, October 6. The company is on track to become the third-largest U.S. retailer by store count by the end of 2022.

The east Bradenton store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is one of several stores ALDI is opening or reopening this year in the greater Tampa Bay market. The first 100 customers will receive a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.

The company says it is significantly investing in the Tampa area, opening five new stores this year. ALDI opened a new store in Lakewood Ranch in July and plans to open stores in Lutz, Clearwater and Lakeland by the end of the year.

In addition to new store growth, ALDI is actively remodeling stores throughout the region, including the Port Richey store earlier this year and another store in Bradenton, which is reopening in September.

"Tampa is a key market for us, and we are excited to continue expanding in the area," said Matt Thon, Haines City division vice president for ALDI. "We’ve been in the Tampa market for almost 15 years and in that time, we’ve grown to over 30 stores in the area, which we contribute to our loyal and passionate fans. We are excited to bring an exceptional shopping experience to even more Tampa area residents."
