Annual Rare Fruit Tree Sale Takes Place Saturday at Premier

Posted

LAKEWOOD RANCH — This Saturday, March 22, the Manatee County Rare Fruit Council will present its annual rare fruit tree sale at Premier Sports Campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This is a once-a-year opportunity to purchase rare and unusual fruiting trees and plants in the Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch areas. Multiple vendors will offer rare fruit trees, along with more common subtropical and tropical fruiting plants, vegetable plants, edible and medicinal herbs, and much more.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet experienced fruit tree growers and purchase trees, fertilizer, and fruit from some of the vendors. Bring a wagon and cash. There will be NO ATM on site.

Enjoy free admission and ample free parking, restrooms, and expert advice on growing fruit trees, edible plants, and more. The event is sponsored by the Manatee Rare Fruit Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. The Premier Sports Campus is located at 5895 Post Blvd in Lakewood Ranch.
