Bradenton Teen Receives a "She Shed" from Make-A-Wish

BRADENTON — Faith, a 14-year-old from Bradenton, struggles with cystic fibrosis but is in her happy place while she’s making music. Thanks to a custom "she-shed" from Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, Faith has the perfect space to create that happy place.

The area will serve as a soundproofed studio and a place to store her piano, guitar, drums, and ukelele, where they won’t be harmed by the equipment and air used for her breathing treatments.

The customized shed was revealed in a surprise celebration attended by family and friends. The new music spot features insulation and noise absorbers, vinyl plank flooring, electricity, air conditioning, a wall for chalkboard paint, music racks, and holders.
