Effective July 22nd, 2024, Rescue 418 (R418) will be Bradenton Fire Department Station #1’s first out medical response vehicle. R418 will respond to all types of medical incidents including vehicle accidents, and also supplement fire response.
Utilizing a Quick Response Vehicle (QRV) for medical emergencies has been proven to be a successful model throughout the country. We are excited that R418 will provide a more efficient response to our community and ultimately enhance patient care.
