Council Corner: Jayne Kocher, Ward 1

While we love all the summer rains bring us–beautiful tropical flora, cooling breezes, and groundwater recharge–they unfortunately also bring challenges to the quality of our surrounding waters and cause no-swim advisories.

We all have to do our part and follow the fertilizer ban until September 30. As we wind down the lazy days of
summer and get ready for the upcoming school year, please take care on the roads to keep our students safe.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and productive school year. Education is the passport to your future.
