Bradenton, Florida - Georgia Marie Armstrong born May 27, 1952 in Darlington, SC, to Craven Lane and Sullie Ocilla (Weaver) Lane. She was a loving daughter and eldest sibling of two sisters, Janice and Susan, and brother, Lee. She is also survived by three nieces and five nephews. Georgia graduated from the College of Charleston, and taught 27 years as an elementary educator, primarily in Frankfort, KY. She touched the lives of many children in the span of her fulfilling career. She married Dr. Norman Armstrong on July 22, 2000, on the French Riviera, after being engaged at King Farouk's Winter Palace in Egypt. She loved traveling with her husband throughout Europe. They resided 16 years in Piqua, Ohio, and in Florida for 10 years.

Georgia was a friend to many, and supportive of a host of residents, in Heritage Harbour, Bradenton. Georgia passed on 10-25-2023, to join her parents in Heaven. The Celebration of Life will be held at the Heritage Harbour Golf Club, on November 5th, 2023 from 2-4 PM. (In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to a charity of your choice, thank you.)
