Janice "Jan" K. Alyasin (nee Shank), 71, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on September 11, 2023. She was born on August 19, 1952, in Greenville, Ohio. Janice was a beloved mother, a cherished friend, and a respected professional. Her memory will forever be treasured by those who knew her.

Jan was known for her warm-hearted nature, her intelligence, and her quick wit. Her smile could light up a room, and her kind and encouraging words touched the hearts of many. She had an infectious optimism and a strong belief in the importance of treating others with love and kindness.

Jan enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as an instructional designer. She dedicated herself to the field, making a significant impact in her role at Sinclair Community College and her previous positions as a learning consultant and information products consultant at NCR. Her passion for education and her expertise were admired by colleagues and students alike.

Jan valued education and pursued it diligently. She graduated from Greenville High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ohio University. She furthered her academic achievements by obtaining a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dayton. Her commitment to personal growth and her thirst for knowledge were evident in her educational pursuits.

Jan was a certified scuba diver and a ballroom dancer. She was happiest at the Ocean or reading a good book. She loved travel and the study of spiritual topics.

Jan is survived by her loving son, Adam Y. Al lbraheem.

No services will be held, as Jan's remains were cremated and spreed in the Gulf.

Jan Alyasin was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. Her genuine kindness, and sweet nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration for those who mourn her loss.
